Although Oviya and her team have not directly commented on the controversial issue, she shared a picture of herself on Instagram on Saturday.

She responded to a person who tried to harass her in the comments section by asking them to share the extended version of their private video.

Oviya, a well-known actor from South India whose real name is Helen Nelson, works in Malayalam and Tamil films. Although she made her acting debut in 2007 Malayalam film kangarooAlongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, she only came to attention 10 years later when she appeared on Bigg Boss Tamil 1. The 2017 reality TV show premiered on Star Vijay with Kamal Haasan as the host.
