Round 3

The US Championship is a 12-player round-robin tournament featuring the strongest players in the United States. Players will compete for $250,000 in prize money and the title of US champion. If two or more players share first place, a playoff occurs.

The US Women’s Championship is a 12-player round-robin tournament featuring the strongest players in the United States. The players are fighting for $152,000 in prize money and the title of US women’s champion. If two or more players share first place, a playoff occurs.

Players are given 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with an allowance of 30 seconds from the first move.

Rest days: October 15th and 20th
