Joker 2 has officially wiped out the 2019 film’s fan base. Its hugely successful predecessor, which was well received at the Oscars, meant that director Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix were already sold on the prospect of a sequel.

Little did they know that their efforts would go so wrong. The film failed to make its breakthrough. With its dismal ratings and forgettable performance, the ratings have likely scarred everyone associated with the franchise for life.
