Man dies after shooting in Avondale, police said

CINCINNATI (WXIX) — A man is dead in Avondale Saturday night, according to Cincinnati police.

Officers said they were called to the 800 block of Hutchins Avenue around 9 p.m. for a report of a person shot.

When they arrived, they found 48-year-old Delrico Hill suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.

Officials said Hill was taken to UC Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police have not said whether they have arrested anyone in connection with the shooting.

The shooting is still under investigation.
