The twenty-sixth season of the American reality television show Big Brother – aptly named Big Brother 26 – premiered in mid-July on CBS. The 1999 adaptation of John de Mol’s hugely successful franchise continues to captivate viewers.

This year, the show revolved around artificial intelligence, but generally followed the classic format as the housemates live together and their every move is recorded to avoid the weekly eviction vote. The final ends the “fun” on Sunday, October 13th.

Big Brother 26 offers big prize

94 HD cameras and 113 microphones were installed to record around the clock in the Big Brother house and someone was voted out every week The last remaining houseguest will receive the grand prize of $750,000. The final three contestants with a chance of winning are: Chelsie Baham, Makensy Manbeck and Cam Sullivan-Brown.

Following the two-day opening premiere, the series aired on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, along with the weekly live eviction show Julie Chen Moonves.

This season’s houseguests included a celebrity chef, a former undercover cop, an event bartender, a former Marine, a physical therapist and a crochet business owner. They also had an unforgettable summer with breathtaking surprises when “BB AI” entered the Big Brother house.
