Garmin’s best outdoor sports watch is now 53% off and way too affordable to pass up

Smartwatches from Apple, Google and Samsung are great, but Garmin’s multisport watches are in a class of their own. If you are an athlete who is particularly interested in outdoor fitness, this is one of the best Garmin watches you want. However, they cost a pretty penny.

Unless you’re shopping during a big sale like Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, where one of the most affordable options is so cheap it’s hard to refuse.

The Garmin Instinct 2s Solar – specifically the 40mm size in the Mist Gray color – is down to just AU$319, which is the lowest price we’ve seen for this model. None of the other options even come close to this price. But you’ll have to make an effort because the sale ends tonight (October 13, 11:59pm AEDT). Also note that this offer is only valid for Prime members.

In our Garmin Instinct 2S review, we found it to be one of the best smartwatches on the market, with exceptional battery life, brilliant GPS tracking and great training tools. And that’s without mentioning how incredibly robust the watch is. Our only major complaint was that the maps don’t display particularly well. We haven’t had a chance to use the solar-powered version ourselves, but they’re virtually identical – the only difference is that the solar model’s battery life follows you over the fitness distance, giving you virtually “unlimited” battery life.
