What David Montgomery’s extension means for the Detroit Lions’ offense

In his first season with the Lions in 2023 after transferring from division rival Chicago, Montgomery rushed for 1,015 yards (4.6 average) and 13 touchdowns to power a Detroit rushing attack that finished the regular season averaging 135, Finished with 9 yards per contest, fifth in the NFL.
