Kansas State football will look to earn its first conference road win in a Big 12 After Dark matchup against Colorado on Saturday night at Folsom Field in Boulder.

The 19th-ranked Wildcats (4-1, 1-1 Big 12) are coming off a 42-20 home win over Oklahoma State two weeks ago, while Colorado (4-1, 2-0) beat Central Florida on the road, 48 -21 to remain undefeated in the conference. Both teams were out last week.

K-State didn’t fare well in its first Big 12 road trip, also with a late start and at altitude, losing its conference opener at Brigham Young 38-9. The Wildcats have also lost their last four games following a bye week under coach Chris Klieman.

This will be the first meeting between the Wildcats and Buffaloes since Colorado left the Big 12 for the Pac-12 in 2011, only to return this year. The Buffs won a shootout 44-36, the last time they faced each other on Nov. 20, 2010 in Boulder.

K-State entered the game as a five-point favorite, but that number had dropped to 3.5 as of Friday afternoon.
