Some of you may have already seen this. In fact, it may have been posted on TNET before.

But this video really applies to HS recruiting. And why will the people who “put all their potential into recruiting classes as fans” never understand it?

No star rating calculates “work ethic, courage and perseverance”!

Our current situation at Clemson is most similar to this: Zaire Patterson came in as a highly sought-after 4-star recruit and is an RS junior. Meanwhile, Jaheim Lawson arrived as a 3-star from DW Daniel. Many thought it was a friends and family deal; but “not so fast”!

Who sees the field more and makes more plays?
The list of 2- and 3-star players for Clemson during the Dabo years is long and prestigious. We didn’t have top five recruiting classes in any of our national championships. However, if we lose a player, some of you will act as if the world is ending. Dabo has a nose for talented, overlooked players. I trust him to bring in playmakers who were probably undervalued.
