Investigators are investigating fatal shooting in Lauderdale Lakes

LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – Investigators were investigating a fatal shooting in Lauderdale Lakes on Saturday.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred just after 1:30 a.m. Hours later, a large blood stain remained on the ground in the parking lot of the Oakland Shopping Center on North State Road Seven near Northwest 44 Street.

Officers found the wounded “male victim” and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue personnel transported him to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Investigators asked anyone with information about this or other cases to contact Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
