Latto reunites with former Waffle House employee for “Brokey” video

Former Waffle House employee Yadira Ramirez has moved up after taking part in Latto’s “Brokey” challenge.

In less than a month, Ramirez posted a now-viral TikTok in which she rapped to the Latto single with other Waffle House employees, which subsequently got her fired, before linking herself to the Atlanta rapper in a surprise TikTok. Proving that success is the best revenge, Ramirez appears in the official “Brokey” video, which premiered on Friday (October 20), and also features guest appearances from Rubi Rose, Desi Banks and Alabama Barker.

Earlier this week, Latto teased the music video with two photos of her and Ramirez while holding a stack of waffles, a subtle reference to breakfast chain Good Food Fast.

Shortly after her firing, Ramirez expressed disappointment that the restaurant had fired her after she had worked there for years.

“I just got fired because of the video of Big Latto’s challenge. Yes, I’m glad I spent six years at a company that would fire me and literally posted a video for a day – a video that wasn’t hurting anyone, that was literally everyone.” “Me “I’m thrilled and happy about it,” Ramirez said in the clip.

“Then they hired me, it’s called AFR list or something. Basically, I can never be hired again,” she continued.

Although her new single evokes broke men, Latto launched the “Brokey” challenge in September, promising $10,000 and the chance to appear in the music video to one person who made the best homemade video for the song.

With Ramirez being named the “Brokey” winner, this probably won’t be the last we see of her.
