What time and channel is Iowa playing today? The Hawkeyes want to get back on their feet

The Iowa Hawkeyes are 3-2 so far this season, and with two losses and the fact that they are in a very competitive conference, it seems like hopes of making the College Football Playoff are out of the question for this team fell out of the window. A two-win team has a chance to make it, but at this point, Iowa would have to win the rest of the season to finish this season with just two losses. It’s not entirely out of the question for that to happen, but given the way the Hawkeyes play, it would be difficult.

The Hawkeyes will face the Washington Huskies for the first time, with both teams being part of the Big Ten. However, this is not the first time these two teams have met. They have met six times and the series is tied 3-3.

Iowa suffered a really bad loss to Ohio State in Week 6, where the offense was seemingly non-existent against the Buckeyes. The Hawkeyes were only able to score on one of their final drives of the game when Ohio State’s subs were in action, and backup quarterback Brendan Sullivan was able to lead the Hawkeyes on the scoring drive.

This won’t be an easy game against Washington, a team that is coming off a big win over the Michigan Wolverines. Even though Michigan doesn’t have nearly the same team it had last year when they beat Washington in the National Championship, they’re still a talented team and Iowa will have their hands full.

Playtime

Iowa and Washington balanced the early kickoff time in the Big Ten this week with the Eastern Time Zone kickoff at 12 p.m., but Iowa’s game is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. CT. With a morning kickoff, fans should be at the stadium early, but will have to spend the rest of the day hopefully celebrating an Iowa win.

TV station information

This week, fans can watch Iowa take on Washington on Fox Sports. Most cable providers should offer the channel with a basic sports plan. However, fans can also stream the game live via the Fox Sports app if they sign up with a valid cable provider. The game can also be streamed on FuboTV with a valid subscription.

If fans are unable to watch the game on television, they can always listen to the game on the Hawkeyes Radio Network, which can be found online or on local radio stations in the Iowa City area.
