The Michael Jordan vs. LeBron James debate will likely last until the end of time.

Old NBA heads swear MJ is the GOAT, while the new generation of basketball fans believe “The King” is the greatest to ever do it.

Of course, there is no right or wrong answer, especially because their careers have not overlapped and they have never been able to compete against each other.

But thanks to the wonders of modern technology, we can now see which NBA icon would emerge victorious in a head-to-head matchup.

We’ve already seen how LeBron and MJ would fare in a (simulated) 1-on-1 game.

But now it’s time to up the ante again and get awesome by finding out how a TEAM of LeBrons and Jordans would perform.

Using the popular video game series NBA2K, YouTuber Clique Productions simulated a championship series between the Bulls and Lakers that consisted entirely of a total of 99 LeBrons and Jordans.

The YouTuber made sure each quarter is one minute long, meaning each game in a seven-game series is four minutes long – just like the real NBA Finals.

Game 1 begins at Crypto.com Arena and goes into overtime after Jordan scores a goal late in regulation time to make it 10-10.

King James scores two baskets and a free throw in OT to earn a 15-13 win.

Game 1 for LeBron.

Game 2 is another back and forth game that goes to OT. Jordan outscored his opponent and secured a 13-8 victory, ending the series at 1-1.

Game 3 takes place at the United Center in Chicago and the Bulls take advantage of the home advantage.

Four-time champion LeBron crowns the game with two free throws and secures a huge 12:10 away win.

In Game 4, the visiting Lakers, now up 2-1 in the first-to-four series, take a 9-2 lead.

The Purple & Gold came away in the second half, outscoring MJ’s Bulls 15-4 to take a commanding 3-1 lead.

With their backs on the ropes, Jordan’s Bulls struggle in Game 5 in LA.

They take a 5-4 lead as LeBron looks to close out the series and secure another world championship ring.

James responded in the second half with two layups and a big time block on a Jordan from mid-range with 27 seconds left.

He decides Game 5 with a free throw and the series is over 4-1 for LeBron.

Animations show confetti raining down on the many different LeBrons as they celebrate together and raise the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy.

The Lakers win the virtual title over Air Jordan, and in the end it was never that close.

James (6-foot-9-inch, 250 pounds) used his size and weight to his advantage throughout the series and was simply far too physical for the 6-foot-6-inch, 216-pound Jordan.

The three-inch height advantage made the difference, as LeBron was able to make timely stops and rebounds on defense before harassing MJ in the post on the other end.

James’ movements in the low post were unstoppable and he managed to make easy shots under the basket.

Jordan, meanwhile, had to work much harder to score, relying on tough fadeaways or his speed and athleticism to overtake the more physically imposing James.

In the end, it was a challenge that not even the six-time Finals MVP could overcome.

The result will of course have no impact on either man’s legacy, but it is a fun way to see how their relative strengths and weaknesses would play out if they were able to compete against each other.
