Here’s what happened to the killer bees during 9-1-1’s Bee-nado event

ABC’s 9-1-1 did their best to promote their three-part “Bee-nado” premiere. Killer bees caused havoc for residents of Los Angeles. However, the last two episodes were about a plane crash. The showrunner revealed what happened to these killer bees and whether they will return.

Premiere with three episodes

Over the summer, ABC announced the epic three-day Bee-nado event set to storm Los Angeles. The eighth season premiered on Thursday, September 26th, with the episode aptly titled “Buzzkill.” A pilot lost control of his small plane as it crashed into a swarm of bees. Due to limited visibility, he collided with a large airliner.

Later in the episode, it was revealed that a large truck had released 22 million killer bees into Los Angeles. The truck also caused an accident on the 4th Street Bridge. The bees swarmed into the cars of passengers who were allergic to bees. Rescue workers rushed to the scene of the accident…
