South Dakota State vs Youngstown State channel, time, schedule, live stream to watch Saturday college football game

The South Dakota State Jackrabbits (4-1) host conference rival Youngstown State Penguins (2-4) this weekend at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium.

The Jackrabbits have been playing at full speed and boast the 16th-best offense in the country (32.4 PPG) and the sixth-best defense (14.8 PPG allowed). They were dominant at home, taking a 3-0 lead and outscoring their opponents 129-19. SDSU has scored at least 41 points in two straight games and three of the last four.

QB Mark Gronowski has totaled 978 passing yards and nine passing TDs, along with 82 ground yards and two rushing TDs. SDSU running back Amar Johnson added 416 ground yards and four TDs along with 12 catches for 98 yards. Wideout Griffin Wilde was also very good, completing 27 of 31 targets for 345 yards and three touchdowns.

Youngstown State hasn’t been nearly as successful as its MVFC competitors. The Penguins ranked in the bottom 25 in the country in scoring defense, allowing 33.7 PPG. However, his offense was ranked 40th with an average of 28.3 PPG.

QB Beau Brungard was something of a rollercoaster, rushing for 1,013 yards and six touchdowns while also throwing six interceptions in six games. Brungard’s legs are helping him, however, as he has racked up 473 yards and six rushing scores this season. Running backs Tyshon King and Ethan Wright combined for 647 yards and eight touchdowns.
