“I have grown so much through my time at A&M.”

Texas A&M University, Texas (KBTX) – Friday was a big day at Texas A&M University as thousands of students received their hard-earned Aggie rings.

The air was full of excitement in the alumni association, which was full of Aggies showing off their brand new Aggie gold to family and friends.

“I’ve been coming here for many years; attend soccer games, baseball games, whatever. But I will always remain connected to the school,” said new Aggie ring owner Connor Naughton.

It is a symbol of academic achievement and, for many students, a symbol of carrying on the legacy of generations of Aggies.

“I have grown a lot through my time at A&M. It’s just incredible to see my journey from where I started to where I’ve gone now and this is a symbol of that,” added Katherine Mendoza, another Aggie with a brand new ring.
