Michigan enters the bye week hoping to get the season back on track with a crucial stretch of games looming on the other side.

The 24th-ranked Wolverines (4-2) will next face No. 23 Illinois on Oct. 19 in Champaign.

Michigan will face four ranked opponents in its final six games, starting with the upstart Illini.

First-year head coach Sherrone Moore continues to play the musical chairs at quarterback, while seventh-year senior Jack Tuttle is expected to tie for the starting lineup against Illinois. Tuttle replaced Alex Orji in Saturday’s 10-point loss to Washington, completing 10 of 18 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown while committing two turnovers.

Tuttle will be the third different starting quarterback for the defending champions this season, joining Orji and Davis Warren.
