Alex Pereira’s sister Aline scores a brutal knockout

Devastating knockouts from left hooks seem to be the trademark of the Pereira family.

UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira was in the pits at Karate Combat 50 in Salt Lake City to watch his sister Aline Pereria take on Dee Begley.

Unfortunately, Begley, who weighed nine pounds more than the originally agreed weight, fell victim to a Pereira combo.

Aline fired a right hand followed by a left hook that sent Begley crashing to the canvas. Aline stormed in and rained down more punches until the referee stopped the action about 35 seconds before the end of the first round.

The celebration was underway and Aline ran to Alex to hug him as Begley poured blood from her nose.

During her post-fight interview, Pereira admitted that she learned the combination from her brother. She also admitted that Begley was frustrated by the lack of weight and criticized her professionalism.

Aline, who like her brother Alex has a kickboxing background, entered the karate fighting pit for the first time and made for a highlight reel moment. As an MMA fighter, Aline is ranked 1-2, with her last fight taking place in September 2023.

At the moment, Aline seems eager to return to Karate Combat to create more magic.

October was a good one for the Pereira family, as Alex recorded just his third light heavyweight title defense this past weekend by stopping Khalil Rountree in a Fight of the Night war at UFC 307.
