WWE SmackDown live results, recap, grades as Roman Reigns takes aim at The Bloodline, plus two title matches

Roman Reigns picked up a decisive victory over The Bloodline at Bad Blood on Saturday, but his troubles aren’t over yet. A returning Jimmy Uso helped Reigns and Cody Rhodes defeat Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa. The Rock’s post-match appearance sparked new questions ahead of WWE SmackDown.

Reigns should take the microphone on SmackDown. Reigns is deep in a feud with The Bloodline after Sikoa replaced the group’s original members with a new army of his design. Uso’s return gives Reigns strength, but they are still at a disadvantage against the combined might of Sikoa, Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. The Rock’s unclear intentions are also related to the internal disputes within the family.

Two title fights have been announced for Friday’s show. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defend their titles against NXT’s Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend following a backstage confrontation on NXT. Carmelo Hayes defeated AJ Styles last week via referee stoppage, which may have been a legitimate injury to Styles. Hayes’ victory will be rewarded with a title fight against US champion LA Knight.

CBS Sports will be with you throughout the night with recaps and highlights of all the action from Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, starting at 8:00 p.m. ET.
