These damage buffs have a hugely positive impact on the overall gameplay experience, as multiple characters and team compositions deal much more damage in combat. It gives more value to weaker elemental reactions and should help underused characters be inserted into top-class team competitions. However, the buffs can come at a price. The base damage buff is also applied to enemies, meaning players are also more susceptible to taking more damage when fighting opponents Genshin Impact.

Aside from that, The leaked elemental reaction buffs appear to be a way to compensate players for more difficult encounters. These more challenging encounters may not be available as early as in version 5.2, but future enemies could be much more difficult to defeat – and this would be offset by the new base damage improvements to these elemental reactions. For example, the weekly boss fight in version 5.3 should be a good example of how tough new fights can be, even if they are offset by more damage Genshin Impact.
