Rochester Hills doctor accused of secretly recording children accused of sexual assault of 5-year-old

The Rochester Hills doctor allegedly behind collecting nude photos of women and children who police believe used their medical license to attack patients has been charged with more crimes – this time for sexually assaulting a woman Five year old.

Dr. Oumair Aejaz, 40, was charged Friday with 17 felony counts for a series of assaults in Novi in 2023 and 2024, the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release.

The charges include two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, three counts of aggravated child sexual abuse and six counts of using a computer to commit a felony.

Aejaz previously worked at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc Township and Henry Ford Macomb in Clinton Township.

Aejaz was first identified in August when both Sheriff Michael Bouchard and District Attorney Karen McDonald announced the charges during a news conference, telling media they suspected the doctor had assaulted others.

After discovering thousands of videos on an Aejaz storage device that contained explicit material, including sexual encounters with unconscious or sleeping women, Bouchard warned that the extent of the doctor’s crimes was currently unknown.

He said it would take a while for investigators to sift through all the evidence. Meanwhile, he and McDonald implored possible victims or victims’ families to come forward.

“We know there are additional victims and we ask anyone with information to contact the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office at [email protected],” the district attorney said in a statement released Thursday.

In a statement from Bouchard on Friday, he said the sheriff’s office was able to uncover a “very large list” of additional crimes that have yet to be charged.

“As I said from the beginning, this would take a lot of work and a lot of time,” Bouchard said. “Nevertheless, we will leave no stone unturned to achieve justice for every victim.”

Anyone who believes they have knowledge of the alleged assaults is asked to contact investigators at [email protected].
