Manistee County Blacker Airport welcomes Contour Airlines with an open house

MANISTEE COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) — Manistee County Blacker Airport will welcome the return of jet service to Manistee with an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony at noon Thursday.

The community is welcome to visit and welcome Contour Airlines.

Contour launched daily scheduled service between Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Manistee on October 1. Contour has interline ticketing and baggage agreements with O’Hare’s two largest airlines, American Airlines and United Airlines. Since 2016, Contour Airlines has grown to 29 cities across the country and operates nearly 40 regional jets with a capacity of 30 passengers.
