Bon Jovi releases “The People’s House” video featuring The War and Treaty

The song appears on his latest album

Bon Jovi has released “The People’s House” with country duo The War and Treaty. The black-and-white video features frontman Jon Bon Jovi singing with the duo throughout Nashville, including the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, where Jon helped save a woman from jumping into the Cumberland River last month.

Directed by Bojan Vanovac and produced by Laura Vanovac and Vano Projects, the clip also features snippets of everyday people lip-synching the uptempo song.

“The People’s House” is the latest track from the band’s 16th studio album. Foreverreleased in June via Island Records. The album features the blockbuster single “Legendary” and “Living Proof.” Upon its release in March, “Legendary” rose to the top of the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart, No. 2 on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart, and climbed into the Top 20 of the Adult Pop Airplay chart.

The band will celebrate their 40th anniversary in 2024 with several projects, including the 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of their debut album, expanded to include 18 tracks of rare audio content, a limited 2-CD set Slippery when wet featuring rare content and Hulu documentaries, a Japanese-only box set, a Forever book and more.

In June, the band opened JBJ’s Nashville in Nashville’s Lower Broadway honky-tonk bar district. JBJ’s Towers stands out among the Strip’s traditional bars, being the tallest and second largest bar by square footage. It features 37,000 square feet dedicated to a rock ‘n’ roll revolution while continuing the roots of country music from Nashville’s storied history.
