North High Football Team Impresses Packers, Earns Game of the Month Award

The Sheboygan North High varsity football team shows excellent footwork and smart play on the field, catching the attention of the Green Bay Packers. The Raiders’ 6-1 record is respectable, but what caught the Packers’ attention was a video taken during their September game at Green Bay West. The Raiders recovered an onside kick from the Wildcats and made a quick handoff, with the runner weaving through the defense for a 70-yard touchdown.

The Packers agreed and said to the Raiders, “Congratulations! Your submitted game was selected as one of the top five games by our voting panel of more than 60 Green Bay Packers employees. As one of five winners, your highlight will be featured in the Packers High School Plays of the Month and your program will receive a $1,000 donation courtesy of the Packers and Head and Shoulders.
